For some reason, this just struck me as funny today. Look! A sense of humor! Maybe the patient is in recovery!

Or it might be too soon to tell, since the house still looks like the police tossed it for evidence, but we'll see.

Speaking of police, for Halloween Emily and her friend had the idea to go as a police officer and her prisoner. They chased each other from house to house, and she would tip her hat each time she got candy. Several of our neighbors got the joke and it turned out cuter than I thought it would. Still working through the candy.

We have houseguests coming soon, so I do need to bring the house up past its usual minimum standards. Wish me luck.
