Emily and I put up the tree this week, at her constant urging. She has enough Christmas spirit for everyone. This year, she wanted to use all the old ornaments. I'd bought clear glass ornaments a few years ago and so we had a sophisticated, coordinated tree that year, but where's the fun in that? Instead, we have this:
Note that the lower two feet are ornamentless in a vain attempt to keep them catless. It's not working, in case you're wondering.
But with a sophisticated coordinated tree you wouldn't have this:
And that's worth all the rest, don't you think?Two more weeks of school and it's out for the holidays. Gotta love private school; they had an ice day last week and I just got an email with her homework that will be due. None of this makeup day nonsense!
